Anchoring
- Stainless steel bow anchoring platform with two bronze rollers.
Starboard side roller is slotted for chain and will accommodate
a 60 lb. anchor. Port side roller is smooth for a secondary
anchor or for mooring lines.
- Custom stainless steel breast plate to protect bow from anchor
damage.
- Recessed anchor well on foredeck is 3” deep and has outboard
drains.
- Muir electric windlass with two foot buttons. Includes integral
deck pipe for primary rode.
- Custom 60 lb. stainless steel plow type anchor with Imtra swivel.
400' of 5/16" high-test chain.
- 4" oval stainless steel deck pipe with hinged lid, port
side of well for secondary rode.
- 12" stainless steel cleat on centerline behind windlass.
Stainless Steel Railings
- Bow pulpit is 1.25" diameter stainless steel with burgee
socket.
- 1.25" stainless steel horizontal hand railings around side
decks approximately 30" tall and include middle level lifelines.
Lifelines are vinyl coated 1 x 19 stainless steel.
- 1.25" rails around aft deck/cockpit area.
Miscellaneous Deck Hardware
- Two Roca windsheild wipers on starboard (helm) side. Two speed
motors with self parking feature. Blades are 12" long.
- Marinco/AFI Dual-Trumpet "full blast" air horns. Chromed
brass finish. 12 volt DC compressor.
- (2) stainless steel padeyes, one inboard of each vent hatch
for attachment guy lines to assist with lowering mast.
- Stainless steel deck fittings to attach jaws of forward tending
struts.
- Stainless steel deck fills for fresh water fill and waste pump
out discharge installed in side decks
- Two anodized aluminum vents recessed into the cabin sides
and two fiberglass clam shell vents aft in cockpit for engine
room ventilation and air circulation.
Cleats for Docking and Mooring
- Total of (7) stainless steel cleats. Foredeck has 10" cleats
on
port and starboard on top of bulwarks, and one 12" cleat
centerline behind windlass. 10" cleats are mounted amidships
on bulwark tops, both sides for spring lines. Aft deck sides have
10" cleats port and starboard on top of rail.
- Stern custom stainless steel hawse pipe, chock with cleat
horns, installed at centerline for mooring, anchoring and towing.
Ventilation - Hatches, Portlight, Dorades, Windows
and Door
- Three Lewmar hatches. One large Lewmar hatch in forward stateroom.
Two Lewmar vent hatches, one each head and
galley. All three hatches come with teak framed hinged screens.
- Optional Lewmar hatch available to be installed in wheelhouse.
- Two dorade vents supply fresh air to master stateroom. Molded
fiberglass boxes with stainless steel cowls, teak trim rings fitted
in overhead.
- One 8" round stainless steel opening porthole in shower.
- Diamond Sea-Glaze commercial grade windows. Clear lenses with
3/8" thick tempered glass set into powder coated aluminum
frames. All windows are custom made and are ordered with a raised
lower lip on the frame to help reduce water and spray intrusion.
- Salon has two sliding windows port and starboard (with screens)
and one fixed window aft with 3/8" tempered glass.
- Forward salon and helm station have two side windows and four
front windows with 3/8" thick tempered glass. All forward
"wheelhouse" windows are fixed except outboard starboard
side helm station window which is a slider with no screen. Forward
cabin trunk has four sliding windows port and starboard: Two for
owner’s cabin, one for the head and one for the galley.
Forward windows are fixed and aft portion slides forward.
- Salon door opens outward onto aft deck and is split “dutch
door” type. Door is manufactured by Diamond Sea-Glaze and
is aluminum with handle, dogs and gasket and includes a 3/8”
thick fixed tempered glass window in top panel.
Deck Drainage
- Anchor well on foredeck has two drains outboard.
Water flow directed to scuppers and help keep walking areas
dry.
- Scuppers in side decks drain to through hulls in the boot top
stripe.
- Two freeing port openings aft in cockpit port and starboard
(under boarding door) to shed water.
Cockpit
- The spacious aft deck area intended for regular outdoor activity
and relaxation. Max. length on centerline is 5' 6". Average
width is 11' 10" and the entire area is surrounded by an
integral retaining "wall" which includes stainless steel
railings along the top.
- 15" wide cockpit boarding door on starboard side. Fiberglass
door with ss hinges and composite locking handle to make boarding
and disembarking easier. Door swings inward toward cockpit. Life
line gate with pelican hook.
- Lazarette – Large locker aft of engine room below cockpit
sole. Full width bonded bulkhead with limber hole drains to bilge.
Access to steering system and engine muffler and exhaust. Propane
locker extends from cockpit sole into lazarette space. Inverter
and hot water heater located in lazarette. Optional air conditioner
compressors are installed in lazarette.
- Lazarette hatch has two twist lock handles and is supported
in open position by spring lift struts. Large enough to permit
easy access to this area for inspection and maintenance.
- Propane locker with twist lock handle opening hatch in cockpit
sole. Locker is vented overboard and contains two 10 pound propane
bottles.
- Beautiful varnished teak caprail on transom.
Chrome bronze ensign socket on caprail and varnished teak ensign
staff.
- Aft deck rail is 1.25"diameter stainless steel.
Shore power inlet and TV / phone inlet located aft starboard
side of house.
- Recessed fuel fills with caps and vents in same area. Located
on aft house outboard port and starboard.
- Stainless steel inspection plate access for emergency tiller.
Aft deck lockers port and starboard side with vents.
- Fresh water wash down bib located in port deck locker.
Swim Platform
- 21" wide transom door from cockpit to swim platform. Door
is fiberglass with stainless steel hinges and composite lock handle.
- Door swings inward to cockpit. Lifeline gate with pelican hook.
- Swim platform has molded in non-skid pattern.
- Stainless steel hinged swim ladder mounted to port side of swim
platform. Stows in up postion against hull stern.
Boat Deck
- Access to boat deck is via the mast which has folding
aluminum steps and ladder rungs to simplify climbing.
- One stainless steel pad eye mounted centerline forward on
boat deck with vinyl coated wire tie to position mast into visor
cutaway and prevent mast from inadvertently leaning forward.
- (2) stainless steel pad eyes mounted aft on boat deck for securing
boom bridle.
- Boom bridle (vinyl covered wire with ss-ring and snaps) for
dead ending boom lift hook when dinghy is launched and for securing
wire hook when raising/lowering mast.
- Optional Lewmar hatch in forward boat deck (available at time
of order).
- Boat deck supported by (4) 1-1/2" stainless steel uprights.
SPARS AND RIGGING
Mast:
- Custom Forespar aluminum mast and boom finished with white linear
polyurethane paint. Mast is stepped on stainless steel hinge plate
with attached mast sleeve assembly support that allows rig to
be pivoted forward for low bridges and to assist in decommissioning
for transportation. Integral through deck cable/wire standpipe.
- Mast is section #181 with Awlgrip “New Hatteras White”
finish.
- (2) PVC conduits in mast. One for lighting wires and one
installed for optional radar.
- 1 sheave aft, lug forward masthead assembly with Hella
#2492 32 pt. anchor light on top.
- Forespar ML-1 light mounted aft side of mast head to illuminate
boat deck.
- Mast stabilizer lugs port and starboard, reach by hand from
boat deck and stabilizer lines.
- (4) Folding steps for boat deck access are painted white.
- (2) Forward tending struts (2" diameter round aluminum
painted) with radius joints at top ends to easily maneuver when
released.
- Jaws at lower ends of struts to secure them to deck via clevis
pins which attach to custom aluminum welded base plates.
- Cross bar and brackets to support forward tending struts
- Perko #1331 20 pt. steaming light.
- Aluminum radar platform designed to support up to a 4' open
array unit.
- Radar platform comes with mounting screws for easy assembly
at commissioning.
- Radar platform has a forward extension to support the mast on
the foredeck when it is lowered forward.
- Perko #280 sealed beam light mounted beneath radar mount
to illuminate foredeck.
- Halyard exit is internal with faired slot and rub bar. One halyard
with shackle included.
- Gate with sail stop included. Mast section has integral sail
track groove.
- Welded lug aft on mast just above boat deck level for retaining
pendant.
- Hand access plate just above mast step for easy access to
wire connections
- Mast ladder mounted on mast
- Optional crows available at time of order.
Boom
- Boom section is round aluminum section with Awlgrip “New
Hatteras White” finish.
- Fixed gooseneck mount on mast.
- Welded endplate at outboard end of boom with farshackle attachment
point.
- Rule V20 electric boom winches with 50' of stainless steel 1
x 19 wire. Controlled by dial end fittings on boom winches. Winches
are mounted to welded boxes on boom.
- Two padeyes on the boat deck connect a boom bridle (wire
with ss ring) which is used to position the boom along centerline.
- (2) Schaefer stainless steel blocks shackled to outboard end
of boom.
Electric Windlass
- Muir VRC2500-A Atlantic series with vertical capstan and 5/16"
rope/chain gypsy self feeds to chain locker through integral
chain pipe. 12 volt system connected to house batteries and
has separate breaker. On deck two foot button switches engage
windlass in both directions as does remote at helm station. Manual
override feature with winch handle.
