surface to simplify filter changing, turbocharger cleaning, lube
oil checks and refills and recharging of the freshwater sub-tank.
Clearance above engine is approximately 21" and the pilothouse
sole hatch above engine is removeable. Fiberglass oil drip pan
under engine.
- Yanmar engine is mounted on solid hardwood beds fiberglass
bonded to hull. Engine bed is capped with solid steel glassed
over surface that is precision tapped for accepting Yanmar
engine mounts. Entire engine mounting system is designed to minimize
vibration and align engine and shaft for optimum performance.
- Yanmar New C-type panel at helm station with analog gauges
and alarm lamps. Panel features include; key ignition switch,
tachometer with hour meter, engine temperature alarm, oil pressure
alarm, cooling water temperature alarm, illumination switch for
meter, alarm lamp unit, sub meter unit and engine
stop switch.
- ZF Hurth transmission gear box with 2.85:1 ratio and 8 degree
down angle.
- Lifeline 8-D 255 amp hour engine start battery secured with
straps in engine room.
- Morse MT-3 single lever engine controls with 33C Supreme cables.
Aquatech 22, 2.25" diameter stainless steel propeller shaft
with standard S.A.E. taper.
- Shaft brush to bond propeller shaft into electrical system.
Wound filament fiberglass stern tube with rubber cutlass
bearings aft. Bronze stuffing box.
- 4 blade bronze propeller, 28" diameter, 23" pitch
x 1.0 DAR.
Left hand rotation.
- Racor 75-500 Max 2 dual fuel filter. Yanmar 6LY is supplied
with engine mounted filter also.

exits hull port side aft at waterline.
- Engine room floors are molded fiberglass with gray gel coat
smooth finish.
- Engine room bilge and lower surfaces are finished with gelcoat.
Outboard hull surfaces, bulkheads and overhead are insulated with
fireproof foiled and leaded foam. All exposed insulated surfaces
are lined with perforated anodized aluminum sheets trimmed with
aluminum trim stock.
- Engine room ventilation – Engine room air intake through
clam shell vents aft section of house. Port side anodized aluminum
vents (baffled to eliminate water intrusion and recessed into
the cabin side) feed Jabsco heavy duty intake blower. Engine room
air is evacuated through starboard side anodized aluminum vents
by Jabsco heavy duty exhaust blower.
- 3" thick FRP engine room door, well insulated and with
safety glass viewing port.
- Engine room lighting includes ss caged dome lights and encased
florescent bulbs.

available at time of order.
Fuel System
- Two aluminum fuel tanks (295 gallons each) totaling 590 gallon
capacity. Baffles and inspection plates included. Each tank
fitted with integral sight gauge to indicate capacity. Each tank
air tested to 3 pounds per square inch.
- WEMA fuel tank capacity gauges with displays at helm station.
- Aluminum fuel supply reservoir is mounted below low point of
fuel tanks and gravity fed by each. Reservoir features a one
gallon sight gauge. Fuel consumption can be checked by shutting
off supply lines and monitoring gauge as fuel is consumed from
reservoir. Return lines from engine and optional generator are
plumbed into reservoir. Reservoir fitted with a drain at bottom
to evacuate sediment build up in fuel tanks and purge water. Reservoir
is vented to port fuel tank. All valves are bronze with ss balls.
- Recessed fuel fill locations with ss threaded caps and vents
on
aft side of exterior main salon cockpit bulkhead - port and starboard.
