Fresh Water Plumbing System
- Two fresh water tanks, (1) 85 gallon and (1) 80 gallon. Total
capacity 165 gallons. One deck fill (ss threaded cap) mounted
in port side deck. Upper tank fills lower tank via gravity feed.
Larger tank is polyethylene and located under master stateroom
bed. Smaller tank located in bilge and contoured to hull shape.
It is fiberglass construction with F.D.A. approved gelcoat and
vinylester resin on inside surfaces. Both tanks have inspection
plates appropriately positioned for access.
- WEMA tank capacity sensors mounted to tanks with gauges intalled
at helm station.
- Whale System 15 WX 0.5" diameter semi-rigid tubing. Color
coded red for hot and blue for cold. System features all
quick-connect fittings that don’t require tools or clamps.
Seaward model S-1100, 11-gallon hot water heater for 120 volt
and engine heat exchanger operation. Manufactured out of
marine galvanized steel. Located in lazarette.
- Jabsco 1 liter pre-pressurized accumulator tank with internal
bladder to reduce pulsating and rapid on/off pump cyling. Accumulator
maintains uniform water pressure.
- Fresh water deck wash down pump. Spigot located in port
cockpit stern locker.
- Jabsco Par Max 3 water pump with quiet water flow, run-dry ability
and low amp draw motor.
Through Hulls
- U.L. listed bronze body through hulls. Stainless steel ball
valves with Teflon seats operated by rubber covered handles. The
function of each fitting is clearly labeled.
Electrolytic Control
- All thru hulls to be bonded together with a #10 green wire and
tied into the 12 volt DC ground system.
- All hardware mounted below waterline - stuffing box, stern
bearing housing, rudder shoe, rudder frame, rudder stuffing box,
etc. - grounded into 12 volt DC ground system.
- Zinc plate tied into the 12-volt DC ground system.
- Newmar galvanic isolator installed at the AC inlet to isolate
the green grounding wire.
- “Divers Dream” brand hull zinc mounted within reach
of swim
step for easy replacement.
- Shaft brush to bond propeller shaft to electrical system.
- Small zinc attached to bronze rudder carrier shoe.

Bilge Pumps
- Jabsco 12 volt electric diaphragm bilge pump, model #36600,
self priming and run-dry design. Belt drive and rubber mounting
pads to reduce noise and vibration. 8 gallons per minute.
- Ultra Sr. automatic bilge pump float switch. Cylinder design
with encased float and magnetic switch with no exposed
contacts to become fouled.
- Edson manual bilge pump model # 638 AL, 30 gallons per
minute. Operable from pilothouse and includes 32" long plated
steel handle for easy operation.
- All bilge pump hose is Trident #147 brand smooth clear hose
(with black helix coil inside to prevent collapse). Ends are
double hose clamped and inlets have bronze strainer shoes.
Shower Sump Pump
- Whale Gulper 220, 3.3 gpm shower sump pump (deluxe unit
with no strainers required, and run-dry feature) operated by dial
switch 5-minute timer to overboard discharge thru hull in boot
stripe portside at galley.
Head and Holding Tank
- Jabsco Quiet-Flush QF-215 12 volt electric head with fresh water
flush. Household sized seat and lid. Model #37045-1012. Toilet
has a powerful waste water evacuation pump that circulates waste
through built-in macerator before being sent to holding tank.
Includes solenoid valve and siphon breaker. Simple push button
flush.
- Head system discharges sewage directly to holding tank.
Single overboard thru hull.
40 gallon integral fiberglass holding tank with clean out port
and Bosworth manual pump out. Limber hole beneath tank for bilge
drainage.
- All sanitation hose is Trident brand premium odor safe hose.
Single deck cap on starboard forward side deck for easy pumpout.
- WEMA sensor for holding tank with analog guage installed near
toilet for easy monitoring
