The Nordhavn 43 combines the latest, most innovative thinking from P.A.E. along with 25 years of offshore cruising experience. Compared to the N40, the N43 has more interior space, an extra three feet of water line length and features 300 more gallons of fuel for added range. Compared to the N47, the N43 has a lower profile, giving her an attractive, sleek look, even though she is 4 feet shorter. This purebred passagemaker is capable of cruising anywhere in the world, and yet its moderate size and displacement (at least compared to other Nordhavns) make it quite affordable.

On deck, a raised anchor platform features a Maxwell 3500 windlass, heavy duty, double roller system and a water-tight Freeman hatch. Integral deck storage boxes are molded-in forward of the Portuguese bridge. An 18-inch wide starboard side deck allows exterior access from the cockpit to the Portuguese bridge. The boat deck accommodates tenders up to 12 feet with additional room for kayaks or other water toys.

Many of the Nordhavn's most important features aren't readily apparent. You will find them in details like the choice of tinned wiring that has the greatest corrosion resistance available. Incorporating these features is part of the reason that Nordhavns are so reliable and hold their value so well.
