Looking aft from the port side, this saloon features plenty of comfortable seating and a beautiful hi-lo dining table. Shown here is the symmetrical layout that incorporates two walk-around side decks. An asymmetrical, wide-body layout offers even more room.

This spacious, well-equipped galley features a separate refrigerator and freezer, a trash compactor and abundant storage and counter space.

The master stateroom is located amidships for easy motion at sea. Opening ports, abundant light fixtures and use of light-colored laminates contribute to the cheerful atmosphere.

The Nordhavn 50 offers several different layouts, allowing owners to choose an interior to fit their specific requirements. The main saloon is offered in a standard or asymmetric wide-body version, the latter offering more interior room. Plans show a portside galley on the saloon level and a spacious amidships master stateroom with private head on the lower level beneath the pilothouse. This location offers the best motion in a seaway. Going forward, the owner can specify either one or two staterooms.

The Nordhavn 50's beautiful, handcrafted cabinetry and top quality hardware are representative of the offshore heritage that graces every P.A.E. yacht. Fiddles for counter and tabletops help keep everything from dinnerware to binoculars from sliding off and onto the cabin sole. Strategically-placed grabrails contribute to safe movement in a seaway. Lockers close securely to prevent contents from spilling out during rough weather.

Every sea-going vessel requires an all-weather command center, a focal point for navigation, communications, maneuvering and operations oversight. The Nordhavn 50 has a pilothouse that fulfills all these functions properly. Protected from the weather by l/2" tempered glass windows, the Nordhavn 50 skipper will have a virtually uninterrupted view of the waters all around the vessel. Heavy fiberglass doors on both sides allow quick access to the Portuguese bridge or the side decks for a quick trip to the aft cockpit. Inside, the helm console sweeps from side to side above and below the forward windows. A wide selection of flush-mount navigation and communications components, as well as ship systems monitors and controls, can be mounted here in logical layouts for efficient use. An uncluttered charting area adjoining the helm keeps vital charts close at hand, and an L-shaped seating area is ideal for the off-watch guests.

Fit and finish are first class on every P.A.E. yacht, and the Nordhavn 50 is no exception. Only the best equipment, proven by thousands of miles of testing and real-world cruising experience, is incorporated into all Nordhavns' stylish interior designs. Corian® and light-colored laminates contrast with beautifully varnished bulkheads and doors. Generous use of grain-matched teak and joinerwork found only in the most carefully crafted yachts sets each owner's interior apart as a true one-of-a-kind creation.
