3. Battery and FRP Battery Box
A. 4 200+ AH (8D) House Batteries. Two additional 8D batteries
is series for 24 volts for engine starting. The engine starting
batteries are isolated from the house batteries which prevents
the inadvertent discharge of the engine starting battery.
B. Each Battery contained within a FRP box with a cover
and thoroughly secured with tie down brackets
C. The top of each battery box to be clearly labeled
indicating battery's use
4. Battery cable: to be 60 sq mm, positive lead
to be red negative to be black
5. All wiring used thruout boat to be color coded
per ABYC standards
6. Conduits for future installations
A.PVC from mast step to pilot house
B.PVC from engine room to pilot house
7. Radio ground plane (optional)
8. Electrolytic control:
A. All thru hulls to be bonded together with a # 10 green wire
and tied into the 12 volt DC ground system
B. All hardware mounted below waterline ie. stuffing box, stern
bearing housing, rudder shoe, rudder frame, rudder stuffing box
to be grounded into 12 volt DC ground system
C. 2 2?1/2" X 5?3/4" zinc plates tied into the 12 volt
DC ground system
9. A.C. Generator (optional)
A. Foundation to be provided within the engine room to accommodate
up to a 12.5 KW generator.
B. Electrical panel to accommodate AC ship's power
