Phil comes to PAE with a broad range of marine experience. Following graduation Phil began his career in the marine industry in the, then booming, Southern California sailboat industry. After designing and engineering sailboats for several years he moved to spar and rigging design, working on a wide variety of designs including several Americas Cup projects. A number of freelance power boat projects led to a career change; sails were thrown to the wind in favor of throttles. The past fifteen years Phil led the engineering group at Cabo Yachts, a world class manufacturer of sport fishing boats. At Nordhavn Phil's mission is to work with the design engineering team and the project managers to assure the finest, best engineered, and most seaworthy yachts in their class. When not occupied with Nordhavn Phil enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife, son, daughter and dog. Contact Phil at phil.arnold@nordhavn.com. |
