Jim,
We were going to throttle up on Friday but with your notes
we will do it today. We were concerned about the weather holding,
after 20 days of head winds it definitely is good to see some
tail winds in our future. I think we will stay at 1500 for
a day, figure our burn at 1500 and then bump up to 1600 in
the morning.
570 gallons remaining
We have about 1000 miles to go.
1500 rpms
@ 6.6 knots
Majuro in 151.5 hours
6 days 8 hours
@2.31 gph
349.9 Gallons needed
x 1.05 safety
= 367 gallons to Majuro
203 gallons reserve
@ 2.31 gph = 87 hours running time / 574 miles
@ 1.05 safery = 83 hours running time / 547 miles
In the last hour we did 7.1 knots
Thanks for the help.
