Bruce
Conn of Trabuco Canyon, CA asks:
After
all this time on board do you see any merit in installing
a urinal in the head? I may be alone on this campaign but
in a rough sea - no matter what the size of the boat - you
end up "painting the walls". Easy to aim - even in the dark,
easy to clean, doesn't take too much room...
Ray
Danet responds:
The
biggest concern is the space that something like this would
take up in such a small area. Also to consider is the extra
plumbing and the fact that there is no marine version and
therefore no choker valve to stop back flow of water. There
are two things one can do, the first being simply to sit down.
The second, if the crew are comfortable with each other, is
to just go out the stern door. It's pretty hard to miss.
