Do you need to run the generator when you use the air conditioning? If so how is it affecting the mileage?

Ray Danet responds:

We need to have the generator on to use the air conditioning. The generator burns about 1/2 gallon per hour and that equals roughly about 1 1/2 nm an hour that we loose. To give you an example, on long runs, say over 2300nm, we would most likely not run the air to increase our range.
