What is the minimum vertical height above the water line of the N40? What would one have to do to configure the vessel to get under low bridges?

Joe Meglen responds:

We can reduce the vertical height of the NORDHAVN 40 to 13'9" with the addition of a tabernacle mast folding aft, and by building the exhaust stack with a joint just above its exit above the false fiberglass stack. During their circumnavigation, Jim and Suzie Sink cruised Nordhavn 46 Hull #10, "Salvation II" though the canals of Europe. They were able to clear the bridges by taking their mast down and by removing the upper of the exhaust stack.
