Welcome to Nordhavn

Ten years ago, it was a unique sight to see a Nordhavn cruising the waters of the South Pacific, but today it’s become a preferred destination for Nordhavn owners. Australia, New Zealand, the western Pacific Islands, Indonesia and surrounding areas offer endless variety and adventures, and are now included as ‘must see’ in many Nordhavn owners’ cruising itineraries. It’s a fact, too, that at least a dozen Aussies can call themselves Nordhavn owners. So the time has come for the company to open up the Nordhavn Australasia office.

Nordhavn Australasia are the preferred representatives of Nordhavn based in the South Pacific and Asia. Our new office is run by Peter Devers and David Flynn; both highly respected long-time yacht brokers and lifetime boaters. Their commitment to client satisfaction is highly regarded within the Australian Marine Industry. Their extensive knowledge and experience directly benefits their clients. Peter and David joined forces with Nordhavn early in 2006 to exhibit the first Nordhavn model in Australasia, a Nordhavn 47 at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Following the successful sale of this vessel, Peter and David undertook an extensive tour of the PAE yards in Taiwan and China. This visit underpinned the extensive knowledge already gained by these two self-confessed Trawler Tragics. In October, Peter flew to California, to PAE’s head office in Dana Point, to meet with entire PAE team including Project Managers, Sales and Commissioning staff. He then assisted the Pacific Asian Enterprises team with its giant display at the 2006 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Currently, the Nordhavn Australasian office is located at Level 30, AMP Place, 10 Eagle Street in Brisbane. But Peter and David are gearing up for their move in 2007 to the brand new Rivergate Marina and Refit Complex, Australia's premier fully integrated marina and shipyard destination at 7 Rivergate Place, Murarrie, Queensland. At this new and convenient location Nordhavn Australasia will offer a full sales, commissioning and service facility.

As a subsidiary of Pacific Asian Enterprises, the designers and manufacturers of the Nordhavn range, the Australasian sales staff are working directly with the manufacturer. They are in direct contact with the designers, the project managers and the factory so they can give you beneficial guidance based on years of experience.
