“Acqua Dolce” is new to the market and has been lovingly cared for by her original owners who are in the process of relocating.  She has been professionally maintained by both her owner and a premier mid-Atlantic yacht yard since new and is now actively for sale.

Tour of the boat – From the Main Saloon to the Guest Quarters at the bow 

The interior of “Acqua Dolce” is teak with a satin finish.  All living spaces are cooled by Marine Air reverse cycle Air Conditioning. Floors are tastefully carpeted completely covering the beautiful teak/holly soles throughout the boat. The main saloon is accessed from the stern of the boat through a large dutch door. This arrangement allows for a large settee & table area on the stbd side with full settee on the port side with a retractable dining/coffee table.  This allows for easy access through the salon and is a great space for entertaining.  On the back of the starboard side settee is a flat screen TV incorporated with a lift system hiding the TV when not in use.  The floor of the salon is carpeted which protects the teak & spruce flooring which is present in all areas throughout the boat.

Galley:

The galley is at the forward end of the saloon and offers large granite countertops that can be used for passing items to the saloon or as a breakfast bar.  The galley is well laid out with ample storage.  The floor is teak and spruce.  The galley contains the following appliances:

Three steps lead up into the Pilot House from the companionway.  The Pilot House includes the primary command stations & electronics for the vessel.  This area provides a panoramic view of the boat and her surroundings and is comfortable in all weather.  Just behind the Stidd Captains chair is a settee with a teak table. Above the settee is a double day berth which keeps the crew close during overnight trips.

Owners Stateroom:

The owner’s stateroom is located aft from the stairway down into the accommodation area. The stateroom features a queen size bed along with many drawers and lockers for storage.  An LCD TV pre-wired for satellite and DVD player are mounted on the forward bulkhead. Also included in the stateroom is a large book shelf and half wall dressing mirror. Beds and bunks throughout the boat are fitted with luxury HMC custom mattresses.

Owners Head:

On the starboard side in the owners stateroom is the doorway to the owner’s head.  It features a full size shower finished in white FRP for easy cleaning.  There is custom teak and spruce flooring. A granite countertop, white porcelain washbasin and Grohe mixer tap make for a comfortable space that is easy to clean.

Guest Staterooms:

At the forward end of the boat are two guest staterooms which are accessed via separate doors at the base of the stairway coming down from the pilot house.  The portside guest stateroom features a fixed upper berth with a wider (double) lower berth.  The stbd guest stateroom features (2) fixed upper & lower bunks along with a small chest unit. Ample storage is available in both cabins. Both staterooms have LCD TV’s pre-wired for separate DVD players.

Guest Stateroom Head:

Just forward of the guest staterooms is a head that is shared.  It features a full shower & head w/ storage.  Finish is white FRP for easy cleaning. Like the master head the flooring is teak and spruce. 

Engine Room:

Access to the engine room is through the owner’s cabin or through a small door in the Lazarette.  The Nordhavn 47 features a full stand up engine room which makes for easy maintenance and upgrades.  Ample space is provided for tools, oil, and spares, Included in the engine room is:

Lazarette:

The lazarette contains the house battery bank along with all battery fuses and disconnects. “Acqua Dolce” has the optional higher capacity battery bank for a total of 1020Ah at 24V. Thruster and windlass batteries can also be paralleled with the house bank for increased capacity if desired.
A 4kW Xantrex inverter provides power for all 120V appliances when the genset is not running. A Village Marine Squirt SPW-600 modular watermaker provides more than adequate fresh water for long stays in remote locations.

Exterior Tour of the boat starting at the stern:

The swim platform with U shaped rails makes for easy entry aboard either from the dock or the water using the fold down swim ladder.  Once on the aft deck you will notice the walkway up the stbd side which provides ample space for moving fore & aft during docking maneuvers.  On the aft deck you will also find a H&C deck shower, plus storage and a propane tank locker.

Boat Deck:

The boat deck is aft of the flybridge and it is where the tender is kept and launched using the Aritex 1400lb SS davit. The 14 ft. Caribe tender with 40HP Yamaha 4-stroke motor are mounted on the starboard side of the boat deck and leaves plenty of room for sunbathing or entertaining. A self-launching life raft in a custom holder is positioned on the aft deck.

Fly Bridge :

One of the best places to entertain while underway is the flybridge.  The flybridge is sheltered from the sun by a polished stainless steel frame & stretched Stamoid fabric.  Also included on the flybridge behind the helmsmen’s chair is a wide settee with white vinyl cushions.
