The current owner is upgrading to a larger Nordhavn hence this sale. This is the first CE certified Nordhavn 47 to come onto the brokerage market and is not expected to be available for long. This model has proved to be extremely popular in Europe; it was recently awarded the ‘Motor boat of the Year Award 2007’, trawler and aft cabin category.
This particular boat has been specified to a particularly high standard with no expense spared. The boat is sold complete with the latest navigational instrumentation and extensive range of Bang and Olufsen entertainment equipment.
The hull has had extra laminations applied at the waterline in addition to stainless steel bow plate and stern quarters to aid in protection against ice, bimini with full removable side panels, Steelhead davit with commercially rated Avon tender
Accommodation & Layout:
The interior of this particular 47 has been very well designed throughout, the interior as with the exterior have a careful selection of upgrades and certain customisation has produced a very highly specified and well thought out boat.
The saloon layout has been customised, on the portside the standard settee seating has been remove and a custom teak table has been built into the cabinetry with a removable teak leaf allowing comfortable seating for five. On the starboard side is the standard settee seating with Ultra Leather upholstery and table; which allows comfortable viewing of the 42” Bang and Olufsen television that is on a lift system in the cabinetry behind the dinning table.
The boat is equipped with a full Webasto Climate Control System; which provides both heating and air conditioning. All over head panels have extra insulation for cold climate cruising, and the windows in the main saloon and pilothouse are all double-glazed.
Throughout the saloon and pilothouse all windows have been fitted with top of the range Ocean Air teak Venetian blinds with wire supports.
All the galley equipment including a dishwasher has been upgraded from the standard Bosch to Miele appliances along with the washing machine and tumble dryer. Behind the hob is the optional storage section and located by the sink is a water purifier, which is also plumbed to the icemaker.
The pilothouse has the larger pilot berth option, and is luxuriously fitted with carpeting and teak blinds throughout to allow for complete privacy if the pilot berth is used.
The accommodation is the standard two-stateroom layout, both in the Owners Stateroom and Guest Stateroom have custom mattresses fitted sheets and pillows. Fitted carpeting and as with the other hatches throughout the boat full Lewmar blinds have been fitted.
Electronics, Navigation and Pilothouse
The navigation instrument package that has been installed on this boat is very comprehensive and extensive (see separate list below). The main instruments of choice are Furuno and two Simrad autopilots. A full Automatic Identification System (AIS) is also included.
