Nordhavn aficionados take note! MV “Celebrate” is a rare two owner Nordhavn 62, new to the marketplace. She has been lovingly cared for, and constantly upgraded by her knowledgeable and experienced owners. MV “Celebrate” is an Australian registered ship, and it is worth noting that she is fully imported to Australia, with all duties and taxes paid.

The Nordhavn 62 is designed and constructed to the absolute highest standards, for the ultimate cruising experience. Easily handled by a couple, superb interior design, renown sea keeping abilities, and benefiting from a decade-long evolution, the Nordhavn 62 has matured into a proven, timeless passage maker that has achieved an impressive record of successful ocean voyages. Capable of cruising non-stop in excess of 3,000 nautical miles at 9 knots, she is a vessel designed to take her owners around the world in comfort, style and safety. If you want to cross an ocean, she will take you there…and back. In essence, MV “Celebrate” is an elegant work of seagoing art, a pinnacle of seaworthiness and above all, a comfortable home on the water. MV “Celebrate” boasts the sought after double walk-around layout, and 3-stateroom configuration, providing maximum spaciousness to the main saloon, and owner's stateroom with full ensuite. All of the ship's systems are well maintained, with key systems upgraded and duplicated for redundancy. Access to the engine room is via a watertight doorway at the base of the companionway stairs. Ample space is provided for tools, a vice, oil, and spares.

Main Saloon:

The interior of “Celebrate” is finished in light coloured teak with a satin finish. The saloon itself is furnished with comfortable settee on the starboard side with a three piece (centre removable) teak varnished table. There are two Ekornes chairs to port, with a media cupboard between. The upholstery is finished in black Ultraleather with contrasting white ‘Silhouette’ window shades. The saloon is accessed from the cockpit by a custom double door with upper and lower sections of glass. Along with the numerous windows this adds light and a feeling of space. Personal comfort is assured by reverse cycle air conditioning. Floors are teak and holly throughout with the exception of the galley and heads. Some features of the saloon area are:

Companionway to accommodation:

Going forward from the saloon on the starboard side, the companionway takes you firstly to the master cabin and ensuite on the port side, then further forward on the starboard side is the laundry, and further along is the generous office. Forward again takes you to the main guest cabin with ensuite, and through a watertight bulkhead door forward of this cabin is the second guest cabin or crew quarters.

The access to this cabin is either internally from the main guest cabin, or externally direct from the foredeck via a large deck hatch and teak ladder. This allows the cabin to be used by crew without disturbing guests in their cabin. The forward door provides access to the second guest cabin ensuite.
