This highly sought after San Juan 38 is one of those rare yachts that actually lives up to the hype so often found in yacht listing descriptions. Thanks in large part to meticulous owners and a proactive approach to routine maintenance, she has been cared for the way a fine yacht should be, and she shows accordingly. She’s been in a covered boat slip the majority of her life and her exterior teak shines with multiple coats of high gloss Spar varnish. She reflects the water with her freshly waxed dark blue hull.

Katana has twin 325 hp CAT 3116 diesels with only 1340 hours. She has a bow thruster to make maneuvering even easier. She features a Wabasto heater to keep you toasty warm when the temperatures are a bit cooler.

Accommodations
Pilothouse: The heart of Katana is her semi-enclosed pilothouse with its 360-degree visibility, hydraulic sunroof, convertible dinette, and comfortable helm station. The teak table has a large built-in lockable drawer under it and a table filler cushion for an additional berth. The helm seat has dark blue leather with an internal locking system for security. There is a bar and sink with hot/cold water, U-line refrigerator with icemaker. The overhead lights have been converted to LED.

Below decks:  You have a  traditional two-stateroom, well-appointed interior with warm teak cabinetry throughout.  There is a spacious V-berth forward and a queen berth amidships, aft of the companionway stairs. The owners currently use the amidships berth as the master. The head is on the starboard side with a walk-in shower. The galley is located on the port side that features a Force Ten 3-burner stove. There are several stainless steel ports (with screens) throughout for good ventilation. There is very good interior lighting overhead.

Galley
The galley is located on the port side and has nice counter access and ample storage. There is a Force Ten 3-burner propane stove with oven, Norcold refrigerator with freezer (on the starboard side) and domestic hot water on demand. There are nice overhead lights and a port for good ventilation.
