Interior Layout - General:

“Marie B” has the walk around exterior side decks with flybridge and dry stack exhaust.

Enter the salon through the cockpit/aft salon door. The L-shaped dinette table and settee are to port. Just forward to starboard are two separate arm chairs with a combination deck storage cabinet/lamp stand and custom bookcase.

At the forward end of the salon to port is the galley, with generous counter space, large stainless sink and lots of drawer and locker storage. A large opening window provides an abundant amount of light and air to the galley.

Forward and on the starboard side of the saloon, are steps up to the pilothouse. The pilothouse has an impressive electronics console forward of the helm chair. Aft of the helm chair is a large settee and dinette table. There are pilothouse doors port and starboard side for deck access.

Forward and to starboard in the pilothouse are steps down to the forward door of the master stateroom, and access to the forward guest stateroom. This stateroom has over and under bunks on both the port and starboard sides. The guest head with enclosed shower is forward.

Deck Layout - General:

The transom has a very useful swim step and transom door to the cockpit. From the cockpit there is access to the foredeck via the port and starboard side decks. There is a boarding door in the bulwark on the port and starboard side deck about halfway forward. At the forward end of the sidedeck are steps up to the pilothouse deck and Portuguese bridge, and foredeck.

The Foredeck is well-designed for working. Just forward of the Portuguese bridge are deck gear storage lockers. All the way forward is the ground tackle handling area, where the windlass, Freeman anchor locker deck hatch, and anchor rollers channels are situated in an area of the deck molded to contain mud and debris. All decks drain to the waterline to prevent streaking of the hull with residue.

The boat deck is accessed from the cockpit ladder aft. On the boat deck is a life raft canister mounted in its cradle. There is a lot of room on the boat deck for additional deck box storage and lounging. “Marie B” is a unique Nordhavn 50 offering both a flybridge with fiberglass enclosed dry stack exhaust.
