Tour of the boat – From the Main Saloon to the Guest Quarters at the bow
The interior of “Nola Girl”is teak with a satin finish. All living spaces are heated or cooled by a 3 zone Cruiseaire AC system. All upholstery in the saloon and pilothouse was upgraded to Ultraleather
The main saloon is accessed from the stern of the boat through a large dutch door. This arrangement allows for a large settee & table area on the stbd side with full settee on the port side. This allows for easy access through the salon and is a great space for entertaining. On the bulkhead on the starboard side of the saloon is a flat screen TV The floor of the salon is teak planked with an area carpet that enhances the look of the saloon.
The galley is at the forward end of the saloon and offers granite countertops that can be used for passing items to the saloon eating area. The galley is well laid out with ample storage. The galley contains the following appliances:

Three steps lead up into the Pilot House from the companionway. The Pilot House includes the primary command stations & electronics for the vessel. This area provides a panoramic view of the boat and her surroundings and is comfortable in all weather. Just behind the Stidd Captains chair is a settee with a teak table. Above the settee is a day berth which keeps the crew close during overnight trips. All critical communication and navigation systems are duplicated on “Nola Girl”. There is also a Splendide washer / Dryer combo unit installed beneath the chart table area.

The owner’s stateroom is located aft from the stairway down into the accommodation area. The stateroom features a queen size bed along with many drawers and lockers for storage. Also included in the stateroom is a large book shelf and half wall dressing mirror. Beds and bunks throughout the boat are fitted with luxury HMC custom mattresses.
On the starboard side in the owners stateroom is the doorway to the owner’s head. It features a full size shower finished in white FRP for easy cleaning. A granite countertop, white porcelain washbasin and Grohe mixer tap make for a comfortable space that is easy to clean.
At the forward end of the boat is the guest stateroom which is accessed via a separate door at the base of the stairway coming down from the pilot house. This stateroom features a double sized berth to port with a desk area to starboard (ship’s office).
Guest Stateroom Head:
Just forward of the guest staterooms is the guest head. It features a full shower & head w/ storage. Finish is white FRP for easy cleaning. Guest stateroom head has been upgraded to a Techma electric model
Access to the engine room is through the owner’s cabin or through a small door in the Lazarette. The Nordhavn 43 features a stand up engine room which makes for easy maintenance and upgrades. Ample space is provided for tools, oil, and spares, Included in the engine room is:

The lazarette contains the house battery bank along with all battery fuses and disconnects. Thruster and windlass batteries can also be paralleled with the house bank for increased capacity if desired. An upgraded Trace 2512 SW inverter provides power for all 120V appliances when the genset is not running. This boat was ordered with a “water maker prep” option and this would be the place to put it in if someone so desires. There is also a by pass switch added to this boat just in case of inverter failure, you would still be able to power everything up through the use of the generator.

The molded in swim platform makes for easy entry aboard either from the dock or the water using the fold down swim ladder. Once on the aft deck you will notice the walkway up the stbd side which provides ample space for moving fore & aft during docking maneuvers. On the aft deck you will also find a H&C deck shower, plus storage and a propane tank locker.
The boat deck is aft of the flybridge and it is where the tender is kept and launched using the Steelhead 1000lb davit. The 10’ tender with 8HP Yamaha 4-stroke motor are mounted athartships on the boat deck and leaves plenty of room for sunbathing or entertaining.
One of the best places to entertain while underway is the flybridge. The flybridge is sheltered from the sun by a custom stainless steel frame & bimini. Also included on the flybridge behind the helmsmen’s chairs is an extra seat built into the flybridge rail.

The foredeck is kept clear for anchoring duties using the Maxwell VWC 3500 windlass along with 105lb CQR anchor along with 400’ of 3/8” chain. Also on the foredeck is a chain stopper as well as access to the bow tow eye.
