Phoenix” is currently one, of only two twin engine Nordhavn 55’s on the current brokerage market. She is hull #24 and is professionally run and maintained by her owner and owner’s captain. “Phoenix” was originally delivered to Dana Point, California. “Phoenix” then participated as the lead PAE support vessel in the 2007 FUBAR rally traveling to La Paz, Mexico. She has spent her more recent years cruising Mexico, southern California and the Pacific Northwest. Her current owner has plans for a larger Nordhavn.

Phoenix” is a very well equipped Nordhavn 55 with many of the popular factory options along with custom add-ons.

Saloon:
The interior joiner work of this yacht is done in teak with a satin finish. Settees are covered in taupe ultra leather.

Enter by way of the large door from the cockpit to the salon which is off set to starboard. There is a tremendous feeling of space, with a u-shaped settee and adjustable height dining table with ‘starburst’ inlay pattern to port. Forward of the dining area is a granite breakfast bar with two teak stools. To starboard is cabinetry for storage and two upgraded reclining black leather Ekornes chairs with their own ottomans.  A 40" flat screen TV raises and stores out of sight on the port side of the salon behind the settee.  Pull down shades hide behind the valances for an unobstructed view. Custom carpeting throughout featuring a 2" reveal showing off the beautiful cabin soles.

Galley:

The galley is located just forward of the salon and is entered by stepping down two shallow steps. Granite covers all work surfaces, including a large back splash and is carried outside adjacent to the galley. All the appointed galley appliances are seen in custom home gourmet kitchens. The American style Sub-Zero fridge and pull out freezer drawers provide ample room for an extended trip.

  • Sub Zero #700 TC refrigerator and icemaker with custom teak doors and locks

  • Sub Zero has two freezer drawers, one with an icemaker

  • GE stainless LPG cook top with custom stainless cage to secure pots and pans

  • GE stainless steel 240V electric oven

  • GE stainless convection/microwave oven

  • GE trash compactor

  • Lighted frosted glass on upper galley cabinets between salon and galley

Owner’s Stateroom:
Located just forward of the galley sharing the same cabin sole level, to port is an athwart ship king size bed and custom Handcraft mattress. There are ample drawers, storage and hanging lockers throughout. Bookcases are located on the opposite bulkhead from the owner’s berth. Forward is access to the guest cabin which is also accessed from the pilothouse.

The owner’s head is incredibly spacious and is appointed with granite countertops. The flooring is done in custom stainless bordered granite tiles. Here there is a Tecma fresh water flush head and step-in bathtub and shower combination with matching granite.

Pilothouse / Captain’s Cabin / Day Head:

The design and layout of the 55’s pilothouse provides generous room with a fully enclosed captain’s cabin with separate head which doubles as the day head.  The black leather upholstered Stidd captain’s chair is centrally located with excellent visibility and access to all operational and navigational systems. A chart table is located to the port side of the helm seat with storage beneath. The main AC/DC electrical panel is conveniently located to the starboard side of the helm seat. A large “L” shaped raised seating area with starburst table is located behind the helm station.  The navigational/electronics package is very extensive.

Forward Cabin:

Descend from the pilothouse to a small foyer. Entering the guest cabin the first difference from the standard layout is an additional guest bunk that has been added to the starboard side creating two comfortable guest cabins, each having separate access to the forward guest head and shower. A sliding door provides privacy for your guests. Below the guest stateroom cabin sole is access to the large storage and machinery room.

Utility Room:

Accessed from the salon and galley area, a stairway leads down to the utility and laundry room. A large top loading chest freezer, storage areas, Bosch washer and separate dryer are located in this area.

Engine Room:

Accessed from the utility room through a large door, the engine room is enormous with standing headroom. "Phoenix" is equipped with twin Lugger 1066Ts. Located in the aft section of the engine room is a door that leads further aft to the large lazarette.
