“Sea Fox” is the best equipped Nordhavn 55 on the current brokerage market. She is hull #28 and was delivered in 2008. “Sea Fox” has spent time exploring the US East Coast, Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska. “Sea Fox” is in meticulous condition and has spent the majority of her life under the watchful eye of a full time professional captain and crew.

“Sea Fox” is ready to take her new owners anywhere in the world. The list of factory options and after sale equipment that has been added is very impressive.

“Sea Fox” is truly a “turnkey” Nordhavn 55.

Saloon:

Enter by way of the large door from the cockpit to the saloon which is offset to starboard. There is a tremendous feeling of space, U-shaped settee and adjustable height dining table with ‘starburst’ inlay pattern to port. Forward of the dining area is a granite breakfast bar with two teak stools. To starboard is cabinetry, a wet locker, and two Ekornes chairs (new in 2013).  A 40” flat screen TV is mounted behind the port side settee.

Galley:

The galley is located just forward of the saloon and is entered by stepping down two shallow steps. Granite covers all work surfaces, large back splash and is carried outside adjacent to the galley. All the appointed galley appliances are seen in custom home gourmet kitchens. The American style Sub-Zero fridge and pull-out freezer drawers provide ample room for an extended trip.

  • Sub Zero #700 refrigerator with icemaker, custom teak doors with locks
  • Whirlpool Gold Electric Induction cook top (new in 2013) with Turbo Boost Burner cook top and custom stainless cage to secure pots and pans

Owner’s Stateroom:

Located just forward of the galley sharing the same cabin sole level. To port is an athwartship king size bed and custom Handcraft mattress (new 2013). There are ample drawers, storage and hanging lockers throughout. Forward is access to the guest cabin which is also accessed from the pilothouse.

The Owner's Head is incredibly spacious and is appointed with granite countertops and stone flooring. Freshwater flush electric head and step-in granite shower.

Pilothouse / Captain’s Cabin / Day Head:

The design and layout of the 55’s pilothouse provides generous room with a fully enclosed captain’s cabin featuring electronic remote control wood blinds and air conditioning with a separate head which double as the day head.  The black leather upholstered Stidd Captain’s chair is centrally located with excellent visibility and accessibility to all operational and navigational systems. A chart table is located to the port side of the helm seat with storage beneath. The main AC/DC electrical panel is conveniently located to the starboard side of the helm seat. A large L-shaped raised seating area with another starburst table is located behind the helm station.

The navigational package is quite extensive. See the list below.

Forward Cabin:

Descend from the pilothouse to a foyer. Entering the guest cabin from the foyer to port is a double queen berth HMC mattress (new in 2013) and to starboard is an additional single berth. These two guest cabins are separated by a bulkhead and door. Forward is the guest head and separate walk-in shower. Below the guest stateroom cabin sole is access to the large storage and machinery room.

Utility Room:

Accessed from the saloon and galley area a stairway leads down to the utility and   laundry room. A large top loading chest freezer, storage areas, Bosch washer and separate dryer are located in this area.

Engine Room:

Accessed from the utility room through a large door the engine room is enormous with standing headroom.
