Brokers Comment:

“Summer Skis” is new to the market and has been lovingly cared for by her original owner with many personal touches added to the boat during the build.

She has been professionally maintained since new and is now actively for sale as the owner unfortunately is now unable to use the boat due to family commitments.

Tour of the boat – From the Main Saloon to the Guest Quarters at the Bow

The interior of “Summer Skis” is teak with a satin finish.  All living spaces are heated or cooled by a 3 zone Cruisaire AC system.  All upholstery in the saloon and pilothouse was upgraded to Ultraleather.

The main saloon is accessed from the stern of the boat through a large dutch door. This arrangement allows for a large settee & custom Corian fold down table area on the stbd side with full settee on the port side.  This allows for easy access through the salon and is a great space for entertaining. The Corian table has a Crown Stainless Hi-Lo pedestal base.  On the stbd upper bulkhead of the saloon is a flat screen TV. The floor of the salon is teak & holly with an area carpet that enhances the look of the saloon.

The galley is at the forward end of the saloon and offers custom Corian countertops that can be used for passing items to the saloon eating area.  The galley is well laid out with ample storage. The galley contains the following appliances:

Sub-Zero 249RP refrigerator

Sub-Zero 245 w/ icemaker

4-burner Broadwater stove w/ oven

GE microwave oven # JEM31GA

Single large custom ordered sink

Storage lockers

GE top load 5 cubic freezer

Stove exhaust blower Dayton # 2C646

Xintex propane gas sensing system

Three steps lead up into the Pilothouse from the companionway.  The Pilothouse includes the primary command stations & electronics for the vessel, along with a Zentrax battery monitor and rode counter.  This area provides a panoramic view of the boat and her surroundings and is comfortable in all weather.  Just behind the Stidd captain’s chair is a settee with a teak table. Above the settee is a day berth which keeps the crew close during overnight trips.  There is also a Splendide washer/dryer combo unit installed beneath the chart table area.

Additionally there is a bypass switch added to this boat in case of inverter failure; you would still be able to power everything up through the use of the generator.  Additionally a Sea Recovery water maker makes 600 gallons of water per day so there is plenty of water to be used while underway.

Exterior Tour of the Boat Starting at the Stern:

The molded-in swim platform makes for easy entry aboard either from the dock or the water using the fold down swim ladder. Once on the aft deck you will notice the walkway up the starboard side which has a boarding gate and also and provides ample space for moving fore & aft during docking maneuvers. On the aft deck you will also find an H&C deck shower, plus storage and a propane tank locker.

Boat Deck:

The boat deck is where the tender is kept and launched using the ships mast and boom arrangement. The 10' tender with 9.9 HP Yamaha motor is mounted athwartships and leaves plenty of room for a sitting area as well as a spot to store a couple of kayaks.  A 6-person liferaft is also mounted just forward of the boat deck on the pilothouse roof.

The foredeck is kept clear for anchoring duties using the Maxwell VWC 3500 windlass along with 105 lb. CQR anchor along with 400' of 3/8" chain. Also on the foredeck is a chain stopper as well as access to the bow tow eye.

Cruising Note:
