Nordhavn 64 ‘Sweet Hope’ the youngest and arguably the most well equipped 64 to be listed. She has spent her cruising life under the full time care of a professional Captain who has performed and overseen the maintenance / servicing of Sweet Hope from the day of hand over in February 2010.

Sweet Hope is a true world cruiser, able to operate in any electrical environment. She has spent her life to date cruising both sea boards of the US and is currently berthed in Florida. She is fitted with a power conversion system allowing her to effortlessly cruise in either 50 or 60 cycle environments.

The 64 is described by many as ‘the perfect cruising trawler’, easily managed by a couple but offering the feel and space of a vessel much larger. Coupled with the timeless design, engineering and superb built quality.

Sweet Hope was built as a ‘wide body’ configuration, optimising the interior space and offering well planned and thought out living space.

She is for sale with a large inventory of equipment and spares.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

NOISE CONTROL:

Hull Damping insulation above propeller rotation plane. Engine room bulkheads and ceiling treated with 5.1 cm of 3M Thinsulate and finished Soundown panels. Further insulation in Galley and Saloon flooring, engine room hatches and in the exhaust system.

 

ENGINE ROOM AND LAZERETTE VENTILATION AND FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM:

FUEL TANK / SYSTEM

Four main FRP baffled fuel tanks totalling 12,113 litres with one centreline aluminium ‘supply reservoir’ with a capacity of 303 litres which gravity feeds from the main engine room tanks.

The supply reservoir sump is the lowest point of the fuel system in the engine room area and this tank has a sump with alarm system and also enabling for physical fuel checking.

Sight glass ‘gauges’ fitted to the 2 engine room tanks.

Automatic shut off system on all fuel values within the engine room.

All main tanks are accessible with removable hatches and internal baffles to allow full cleaning if necessary.

Transfer manifold: To enable fuel transfer between all tanks filtering / fuel ‘scrubbing’ through a Racor 1000 filter.
