“Tumbili” is the Crème de la Crème of Nordhavn Yachts and the most extensively outfitted Nordhavn 47 ever built. She has numerous custom features such as custom hard top, custom cabinetry with plasma lift, oversized tender and underwater lights. Redundancy abounds with the finest of gear and electronics, including a top of the line VEI computer navigation system usually only found on much larger vessels. She is one of the few Nordhavn 47’s with bow and stern thrusters, two generators, two stabilization systems (Paravanes plus hydraulic fins) as well as a commercial Carlisle and Finch Xenon spotlight. Tumbili was originally built to cruise Transatlantic as part of the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally at a cost of over $1.3 million and now is available for only $849,000.

 


Accommodations
3 Stateroom layout entering from the cockpit, there is a dinette to starboard; this area has been modified to fit a 36” flat screen TV on a lift system behind the forward end of the dinette. To starboard, the standard settee was eliminated to open the space for two large size Ekornes leather reclining chairs with ottomans. Forward to the dinette is the washer/dryer locker and has the up-graded Asko full size units. The galley is to port and has granite counters with three options, the storage behind the stove and the raised backsplash behind the sink area and the Miele 18” dishwasher. Please see standard specifications list for other galley appliances. Up from the galley/saloon area takes you into the pilothouse. The pilothouse in the 47 is enormous and has a high-back Stidd helm chair. Instrumentation is detailed below. From the pilothouse you head down stairs to the staterooms. There is an additional Sub-Zero freezer located in the stair area and above the freezer is a “charging barn”, a locker used for storage and charging of equipment like cell phones, handheld VHF and GPS units. There are three staterooms; the two forward staterooms have upper and lower bunks and loads of storage. Both staterooms share a head with a separate stall shower with granite counters. Owner’s suite is amidships and has an ensuite head with granite counters. The interior of “Tumbili” was professionally decorated. There is also a teak veneer on the engine room door. She is totally outfitted and tastefully decorated. No other 47 has this attention to detail!
