Phil began his career in the marine industry in the, then booming, Southern California sailboat industry. After designing and engineering sailboats for several years he moved to spar and rigging design, working on a wide variety of designs including several Americas Cup projects. For fifteen years Phil led the engineering group at Cabo Yachts, a world class sport fishing boat builder. Work with the design engineering team and project managers keeps Phil busy at Nordhavn. Dave Harlow Project Manager - Nordhavn 75EYF
A lifelong boater, Dave signed on at P.A.E. in 1990 and has had roles which include delivery captain, salesman and project manager. Philippa Irwin Assistant Project Manager - Nordhavn 40, 55/60, 63, 75
Philippa serves as Assistant Project Manager on the 40, 55, 60, 63 and 75 EYF. She started at P.A.E. managing the brokerage boats before jumping into Project Management, and for the duration has maintained a reputation for stellar customer-service. David Jen Engineer, Inspector
David Jen is PAE’s “eyes and ears” on site at the Taiwan and China factories. He is a graduate of the prestigious National Cheng Kung University of Taiwan where he majored in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. With his 15 years of experience in the boatbuilding business, proficiency in three languages and superb engineering, management and people skills, David is an invaluable resource who stays very busy with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. Sky Scott Production Manager
Sky Scott has been with Pacific Asian Enterprises since 2001 where he managed the Purchasing and Materials Handling Department supplying material for our overseas production as well as parts to our many Nordhavn owners. He now leads our production team in our pursuit to build the highest quality and reliable ocean fairing vessel. Garrett Severen Project Manager - Nordhavn 72, 76, 78
Garrett started at PAE in 2001 as part of the Commissioning Department at the company's headquarters in Dana Point. When the Florida office opened up a year later, Garrett relocated to Stuart to assist with commissioning there. During his three-year stint in Florida, he also worked in the parts department and crewed on two different boats in the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally. In 2004, Garrett headed back to California where he was tapped to be the Project Manager of the 62. He now the Project Manager for the Nordhavn 72 and 76. Mike Telleria Technical Writer – Engineer The demand for Nordhavn boats continues to grow at an unbridled pace, and Mike has come aboard to help write and compile the detailed custom Owner's Manual that comes with each boat. Mike brings a rich mixture of technical experience and writing talent to the Nordhavn team. Before spending a number of years as an engineer on commercial ships, Mike earned a degree in Marine Systems Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, and an unlimited U.S.Coast Guard 3rd Assistant Engineer's license. More recently he has spent much of the last 10 years in the world of recreational boating journalism as an editor for titles including Sea, Lakeland Boating and Go Boating. Justin Zumwalt Project Manager Nordhavn 64, 68
Like much of the staff, Justin Zumwalt started at P.A.E. on the commissioning team. After years of outstanding performance, Justin was named Commissioning Manager and soon after, he became the project manager of the 57, 64 and 68. He has logged thousands of miles helping to deliver boats and as a crew member of the Around the World voyage.
