Rick, Queensland, AUS
Hi guys, just wondering if you are held up in Fremantle for
so long why not take a trip up to the Kimberley in north West
Australia. It's the right time to go up as it's the end of the wet
season, I think you would enjoy the area. I know I did, it's a fantastic
place. This is a web site we used when cruising up there -
kimberleycruising.com.au - If you have any questions on this area drop
me a line and I'll do my best to help.
Scott Flanders from Egret responds:
Rick, Egret has so many miles coming up starting this Sept we are taking the time to land tour Western Australia vs taking Egret to the Kimberly.
Currently we are in Broome and got a flood type rain last night. We haven't mentioned it yet on VofE but we found our 4WD drive isn't up to the Gibb River Road 4WD track so we will miss most of the Kimberly. He have however, seen similar areas in Karijini National Park and a couple other places.
In any case we we will see what we can. WA is different than anywhere we have been in our travels and we are enjoying it immensely.
