Customer cruising plans: The owners hail from Australia but were very interested in cruising the Pacific Northwest, and so very wisely decided to have the boat commissioned in Seattle. They plan to explore the area over the next three cruising seasons, striving to cover Washington State, British Columbia and Alaska.
Notes about this boat: The owners said commissioning of the boat went very smoothly during the six weeks it spent in Seattle, and attributed it to having electronics installed at the factory. Another huge factor is that there were no major changes or elaborate additions made to the boat they’d initially speced out with their salesman. Since embarking on their maiden voyage last month, the owners have enjoyed how functional and easy to use their Nordhavn 60 has been. One of their favorite features has been their enclosed cockpit – which allows them to hang out and enjoy the outdoors “while keeping out the elements that the PNW can throw at you!”
The owners invite all cruising enthusiasts to follow them on their travels via their blog www.scolamanzi.com.au.
