Those who have followed the development of the Nordhavn 72 project know that through clever planning and design of the tooling, there are numerous configurations of this basic design that can be ordered. The fundamental options available are two deck configurations (standard and aft pilot house) and two hull configurations (72 feet and 76 feet).

Hull #3, which is now on the production line represents three “firsts”. It is the first aft pilothouse boat, it is the first of the 76-foot models and it is the first of this line to be molded with a bulbous bow.

In these first-released photos of the N72 hull #3 (effectively 76 #1), please note the huge cockpit and lazerette. The salon of this boat will be especially spacious because hull #3 is being built in a “wide body” configuration.
