It's here! The long-awaited third edition of Circumnavigator magazine, Pacific Asian Enterprises' very own publication about our boats, the people who build them and the people who cruise in them. When we introduced the first Circumnavigator four years ago, we never imagined the fantastic response we'd get from the thousands who read the book cover-to-cover. The demand for a follow-up Circumnavigator was overwhelming, so we launched our second magazine in 2006, nearly doubling its size from the premier issue.
Circumnavigator II was received so well, it was hard to imagine we'd have enough material for another magazine. But the folks at P.A.E. and Nordhavn owners alike have kept the literary fires fueled. In the past two years, the company has introduced and launched several new models including the new Nordhavn 56 Motorsailer, while our vessels' owners have continued to keep Nordhavns on the map with fantastic voyages, like the Flanderses "Voyage of Egret" or the owner-organized "Med Bound 2007."
In addition to such destination-driven articles are a primer on how best to buy a brokerage boat, analysis on fuel filter systems and a humorous satire on how to prepare yourself for an ocean crossing.
We think we've outdone ourselves with Circumnavigator III. Much more than an entertaining read, we hope it also serves to educate and inform you when it comes time for you to make your next cruise or boat purchase.

Lots of Nordhavn owners send us photos of their boats in beautiful or
unusual settings, which is great because that means we can post them to our Photo Gallery and share them with you. When I saw that one of my customers,
Marty Ellison, had e-mailed me a photo of his Nordhavn 55, "Tenacious", I
promptly took the step of forwarding it along to be submitted for the
website. But I stopped short of pressing send and reconsidered. This is a
very unique shot! Unique enough that it warrants an equally clever caption.
So I pass the task on to you, the readers of nordhavn.com. If you think you
can wordsmith your way into providing a proper caption for this photo,
please submit it to us. We'd love to see what you come up with! Please send
entries to amy@nordhavn.com by March 23. The best ones will be featured on
nordhavn.com next week and the winner will win a free Nordhavn cap.
