Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot on display this
week in Newport, RI
It’s finally here: the east coast debut of the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot. This striking and versatile boat has taken her place at the Newport International Boat Show and is poised to steal the show. She is beautifully styled, well-equipped and ready for the type of extended coastal excursions an adventurous couple dreams about taking.
Her capabilities have been well documented this past summer with her recent travels down the length of the west coast and up the eastern seaboard.
This highly functional yacht is nearly “all things to all people”, whether you are someone who is looking to ease your way into passagemaking, baby-stepping back from world cruising, or searching for an uber-capable, seaworthy, moderately-fast inter-continental boat, the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot is your perfect choice.
We invite you to stop by and check her out for yourself. Nordhavn vice-president Jim Leishman will be attending the show and is happy to speak with anyone about the finer points of the 59 CP. The Nordhavn display is at Dock M-10 N. Visit newportboatshow.com for more details.
As the Fall Boat Show season gets underway this week, Nordhavn is gearing up for a big presence with four exhibits.
Things kick off in Newport, Rhode Island this week with the highly anticipated East Coast debut of the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot.
Three weeks later, the N59 CP travels to Baltimore for the Bay Bridge Trawler Fest, Sept 28-30. In addition to our in-water display, two Nordhavn salesmen will be taking part in the seminar series. Ben Sprague from Nordhavn Yachts Northeast will co-moderate the seminar “Survival at Sea” while Devin Zwick, salesman out of the Nordhavn Yachts Southwest office will conduct “Bi-coastal Cruising via the Panama Canal” based upon his many experiences transiting the Canal, including on board Nordhavn 55 Rainbow Chaser earlier this summer.
In October the N59 CP splashes at the Annapolis Powerboat Show. The Annapolis Show is always a very busy show for Nordhavn and we expect this one to be no different as many will be getting their first glimpse of the new Coastal Pilot.
The season wraps up with the Fort Lauderdale Show. Despite Hurricane Irma, it seems the show will still go on. The N59 CP finishes up the fall shows in Fort Lauderdale alongside a Nordhavn 60. Display boats are still being finalized so check back to our Calendar of Events page for updates and information regarding any of these shows or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
