Yes, it's true that if you are itching to get out there and start having fun
on the water, most of our models will not work for you because of the long
lead time. (There are lots of people out there with the same ideas as you!)
But every so often, the rare opportunity arises when a fantastic new
Nordhavn becomes immediately available. And that is what is happening now
with a gorgeous new Nordhavn 62.
Recently shipped from our factory in Taiwan, this N62 is just an electronics
package and a few throw pillows away from a new owner sailing her into the
sunset. Because the original purchaser of this hull moved to another boat
prior to it being layed up, P.A.E. took over the order and layout. Based on
30-plus years of experience of building and cruising boats, the company
configured an arrangement that allows the most room and comfort for the
maximum number of guests able to be accommodated.
Hull #31 is a wide-body layout with the popular "sink outboard" galley. By
pushing the saloon out approximately two feet, you lose a walk around, but
gain an impressive amount of space, air and light inside. On the lower
decks, four staterooms - each with ensuite heads with showers - ensures that
guests are comfortable and pampered. Upstairs, the pilothouse is open with a
desk suitable for your "home away from home" office. The immense
dash/console represents our latest thinking and is ready to receive up to
four flat screens.
While selection of electronics is still up to the new owner, we have
outfitted this 62 with the finest equipment based on the success we have had
as well as input from our owners: bow and stern thrusters, ABT TRAC active
stabilizers, a Maxwell windlass with 300-lb. anchor and chain, a flat screen
television on lift, 1,000-Kg. davit, air conditioning and heating, top of
the line appliances, wing engine, dry exhaust, maximum tankage. The list
goes on from there.
The excellent electrical system is matched by the exquisite interior
comprised of fine quality teak, granite countertops throughout the galley
and heads, butter cream leather cushions in the salon and blue leather
cushions in the pilothouse.
Comfort, luxury, security, reliability. Do these sound like the qualities

Designed in the north sea trawler style that Nordhavns were founded on, the
N62 is a proven model with many ocean crossings and circumnavigations under
her belt. And that's not surprising with a cult following and better fuel

has evolved over the years to keep her one step ahead of the rest of the
marine industry. Like the venerable Boeing 747, the N62 just gets better
