Last week marked the 2007 Miami International Boat Show and P.A.E. was represented with its finest display yet. Despite the unseasonably cold temps and drizzle, three gorgeous brand new Nordhavns shone for the hundreds who walked through them. Not even completed with commissioning, a Nordhavn 55 and 47 wowed the crowds who were amazed at the interior finish and solid construction of the hulls. (P.A.E. is indebted to Jacob and Debra Mast and Jeff Files and Kris Bullock for their generosity in allowing us to show off their yachts.) Meanwhile, a stock Nordhavn 43, just delivered to P.A.E.’s Stuart, FL office in the fall, didn’t stay un-owned for long. Admirers of the little ship came to get another close look and by the end of the show had made the move to claim the hull in their name.
As with every Miami Show, a festive party was thrown by P.A.E. in honor of Nordhavn owners – both new and long-time – who had come to visit us at the show. The parties are always a blast and brought together folks who had cruised together (like some of the participants from the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally) as well as brand new buyers looking to get some advice from seasoned Nordy vets.
If you missed the Miami Show but want to get on a Nordhavn, there’s plenty of opportunity to do so. We’ve got models at each of our 5 offices and we’ve got upcoming shows in Australia and Palm Beach, Florida. Contact your salesman or your local sales office to find out how you can get on board a Nordhavn.
