Nordhavn Yachts Northeast is pleased to present interested Nordhavn buyers the opportunity to inspect a variety of Nordhavns at our annual Open House. (The Open House is not open to the general public. It is an invitation-only event. Please contact nesales@nordhavn.com if you are interested in attending.) This has been a successful event for us and we are excited to conduct our third one within the context of the Rendezvous.
The success of past Open Houses has been directly related to the generosity of our owners who allow the use of their boats as display boats. Last year, we were lucky enough to host the Med Bound boats at our marina in Portsmouth, RI, and each of these boats was volunteered to help us make a truly great exhibit. We are hoping to continue this trend by soliciting Rendezvous participants who would also be willing to let us show off their boats. We love all of our models, but for this purpose we are specifically looking for Nordhavns currently in production.
The hours of the Open House will be 11 am- 4 pm and we are anticipating around 100 people. Between 8-10 Nordhavn staff members will be on hand to manage guests and answer questions.
We know that your boat is your pride and joy so for offering to share her for a few hours, volunteers will be compensated with one night’s dockage or moorage (whichever you have arranged).
One of the highlights for Open House attendees is the chance to speak with actual owners about their various travels and about Nordhavn ownership in general. We encourage owners to “hang out” and speak to the invited guests, whether or not your boat happens to be a display boat. (Please be aware that the Open House coincides with Bob Senter’s Lugger seminar.)
PLEASE NOTE: The Open House will be conducted at the docks of the marina. All boats who have paid for slips must move their boats to a mooring by 9 am on Friday, July 18 to allow for the display boats, and can return to their slip once the Open House has concluded
